It seems like everyone is getting a blog right now, and I don't know how I feel about that.  On the one hand, I already feel like mine is basically a very public journal.  I don't have anything THAT interesting to say that people haven't heard before.  But you know what, I'm going to keep on writing.  My posts may be sparse but it looks like people read this (see previous posts, but this is terrifying to me.  Still in denial).

In other bandwagon news, I had ramen for lunch yesterday.  Not the ramen that you're thinking of, but real, amazing ramen!  I've been hearing about it for a while, but I didn't think that going out for ramen made any sense.  Well, now I know better.  So if you have the chance ever to go get ramen, DO IT!

REAL ramen.

Meet The Author

I'm Madysen, born and raised in Nebraska but now living out my dreams in New York City. I moved here to go to Columbia, but living in New York has become so much more to me. This blog is a space where I can share my experiences of reconciling my midwestern upbringing with the life I live in the city. But even bigger than that, this blog serves as a space where I can try to understand where I fit into the larger social world, where I want to go in life, and how I want to go about pursuing all of these endeavors.
