Finally bought coffee and now my darling French Press gets a lot of use! |
I have literally a list of things I want to blog about. I'm finding I have more ideas now than I had all summer (although that makes sense since this blog is about the differences between Nebraska and New York, and this summer was spent in Nebraska...). But right now I just have too much work to take the time to write things. Our professors jumped right in with readings the first week of class, but I wasn't ready that weekend to put in the effort and time needed to finish everything. Consequently I've been just barely holding on all semester. While this is fine and isn't killing me, it's made it impossible to take the time I need to do the things I love. Which includes writing this blog.
So the point of this is that I will be posting things on here as soon as I can. And, at least in my head, it seems like I have some ideas worth reading.
As of right now I'm going to go back to my coffee and W.E.B. Du Bois and Yoruba beaded crowns. Because that's right, now I'm an Africa studies major and this is what I get to do every day. Have I mentioned that switching majors was the best thing I've done?
